Structure of the project
I choose to work my background with dark colors such as black, blue, green and purple shades. The opening with the title of the project has a black background and I decided to to use white fonts to give emphasis to the title. I didn’t use any effect for the opening but I used on the way my name is appeared.
The fonts are big and simple with some bright colours, simple rotated. The background effect which I used is the ‘cosmic’ effect. I wanted to give a sense of magical sky presented behind the letters. The basic tools I used were : rotation, scale, background effects and preset effects ). I didn’t use any images in the project because I felt pressure with the time management and I tried to present my theme more based on the fonts, the content and the background which changes colours. I could have added some images made on photoshop or illustrator it would have a nice result especially if the images appeared when specific words appeared on the screen.
I didn’t sketch on the paper how I wanted my project to look like and also I didnt made a animatic , this made the creation more difficult for me but as I mentioned above due to lack of time I tried to experiment of the After Effects with the fonts, the backgrounds, the effects and the rotations. I started my project on a simple basis and that’s was how I liked the rest of it to look like. The easy part for me was the selection of the soundtrack. I searched for relaxing music and I found a track which matched perfectly with my theme. It was a 9 min soundtrack and I had to edit the starting and the closing time. The part which I choose from the soundtrack is repeated to all the scenes of the project.
I’m satisfied with the result and the research I did for the project but If I had more time or more material based on the Visionary art I would have done better work.
